For over 120 years, Keen’s Cheddar has been crafted with unwavering dedication to tradition at Moorhayes Farm in Wincanton, Somerset. Established in 1899, this family-run dairy is now in its fifth generation, continuing to produce its renowned unpasteurised Cheddar using milk from its own grass-fed cows.

 

Keen’s Cheddar is celebrated for its crumbly yet creamy texture and deep, complex flavours, which develop over a maturation period of up to 18 months. Made using time-honoured techniques, including hand-turning each cheese to ensure consistency, the result is a Cheddar that is rich, full-bodied, and unmistakably Somerset in character.
