Burt's Cheese

Burt’s Cheese - Small-Batch Artisan Cheeses from the Heart of Cheshire.

Located near Knutsford, Cheshire, Burt’s Cheese is a small but mighty artisan cheesemaker that has been producing award-winning, handcrafted cheeses since 2009. What began as a kitchen table experiment by Claire Burt, quickly turned into a full-scale cheesemaking venture after her signature Burt’s Blue won Gold at the 2010 International Cheese Show in Nantwich.

Burt’s Cheese specialises in small-batch production, ensuring exceptional quality and rich, complex flavours. Their flagship Burt’s Blue is a semi-soft blue cheese, prized for its creamy texture and delicate blue veins. Other standout varieties include Drunken Burt, washed in cider for a unique depth of flavour, and DiVine, wrapped in vine leaves for a beautifully rustic finish.

With a commitment to using high-quality, locally sourced milk and traditional cheesemaking techniques, Burt’s Cheese has earned a loyal following among cheese lovers and chefs alike.
