Nestled in the North York Moors National Park, Botton Creamery is more than just a cheesemaker, it’s part of the Camphill Village Trust, a community dedicated to supporting adults with learning disabilities by providing meaningful opportunities in traditional crafts such as cheesemaking. Producing exceptional organic cheeses, the creamery uses milk from a small herd of Ayrshire and Dairy Shorthorn cows, ensuring a rich, creamy texture and outstanding quality.

 

The creamery’s range includes Dale End Cheddar, a cheese matured for up to 12 months, delivering a tangy bite and deep, full-bodied flavour. Moorland Tomme offers a smooth, earthy profile with a natural rind, capturing the character of the North York Moors. Summerfield Alpine, a Gruyère-style cheese, is made with summer-grazed milk, producing a rich, nutty complexity, while Botton Gouda is celebrated for its mellow creaminess and perfectly balanced flavour.
